The best experience tonight at Pub St-Patrick. It was our first night in Quebec City and we chose wisely by going to Pub St-Patrick. The music, food, and atmosphere was excellent, the best bangers and mashed ever. But what made our experience exceptional was our waiter, Anthony… phenomenal customer service.

I have never been so pissed off! This is the first time going, we are visitors. We had the worst waiter we ever had. We did not get served until I waved him down 15 minutes after arriving. We also waited for our bill for 1/2 an hour. I had it and went to the bar. Our waiter was busy drinking a pint and talking to the bartender. What a disgrace!!! So sad! I was thrown off a bit by his full arm tattoos and no smile, but this is too much for his drinking!!!!!

This place was packed on a Sunday night. Did not have a reservation. It was great atmosphere with a live musician on the ground level. This place seemed to have multiple levels and different rooms within those levels. Music was pumping throughout. Service was prompt and efficient. Food arrived quickly. Portions were huge. I ordered 3 tacos thinking they were small. These were large and plentifully stuffed. They have great selection of alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages. I ordered a mixed beer drink, cream velvet. It was smooth, cold and delicious.

This review is mainly for Lea, our server.
My friends and I went to Pub St. Patrick while we were studying abroad, and it was so much fun. Lea was the absolute sweetest and so funny. She was also incredibly kind to us as we are not fluent French speakers. The food was absolutely delicious as well. Lea deserves a raise, and boy can she make some delicious cocktails <3. (If I am spelling her name wrong, she’s the pretty blonde 19 year old w super cool tattoos; she rocks)!

5 Stars! The service was fantastic, the food was excellent and abundant, and the atmosphere was what you would expect from an Irish pub.
I myself had the fish and chips with a glass of red wine, while my parents each had a half rack of ribs.
The fish was perfectly balanced with the right amount of batter to fish ratio, and the fries had the perfect crispy outside and soft center.
The ribs my parents had were falling off the bone. The ribs were so tender that they practically melted in your mouth. My parents have had ribs from all over, and these are the best by far, even beating out New Orleans, Louisiana.
The server was able to provide excellent pairings for each of myself and my parents' taste, Dad asked for a light local beer, Mom asked for a glass of white wine, and I asked for red. He chose fantastic selections that were perfect for our tastes.

Fantastic food, friendly staff, good prices. Definitely on the upper end for a casual spot on a vacation budget, but well worth stopping in if you're going through Old Quebec
