If you are looking for a great pizza with substance that includes a healthy, extremely plentiful amount of cheese and sweet and savory sauce; then come to Mineo’s! I really enjoyed their pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni seemed to hidden in between the sauce and under the thick layers of cheese. We enjoyed.

Dare would I say that I would ask for them to decrease the amount of cheese just a tad next time? Hiding from Pittsburgh Mineos fans as I say that out loud. I enjoyed this pizza the day of and even more the day after.

Absolutely Horrible Horrible Horrible. ordered large pizza pepperoni and sausage more cheese than sauce was like eating rubber greasy ordered a steak and cheese hoagie asked for it plain got onion tomatoes and lettuce how hard is a plain hoagie called told me I could come back and get a new one the new one had hardly any meat and was like eating leather cost 50.00 which is ridiculous go to calientes or pasquellies much better choice

On hold for 10 minutes. Then couldn’t get through for many more. Finally get order placed. 2 pizzas and salad/soup. Girls up front look frazzled. Place looked like they were closing. One of the girls puts a customer on hold and places the phone on the counter. Had to be at least 7 minutes. They aren’t using the cash registers for checkouts. A calculator and the menu. Get home with food. First pizza has an awful crust that tasted like stale bread. Then my daughter screams while eating her salad. She finds a dead ladybug in it. See pic. To the left end of fork. Contacted Mineos and told a manager would call. Didn’t happen. Not coming back to this dump. Used to love this place. Yes, this is all it takes. Can’t even contact me and reimburse for the bug salad!

Mineo's has been voted best pizza in Pittsburgh for good reason. This pizza has tons of cheese, a delicious sauce, and a crust that is to die for.

I ordered a large pizza ? and a cheese steak hoagie from the squirrel hill location. When ordered with what sounded like a young girl over the phone I was very specific in what I wanted on the pizza ? and cheese steak hoagie. She even asked again to confirm my order and I repeated the same. The pizza ? was made as requested but to be honest it's very bland, very oily and greasy, and so much cheese it's like eating a piece of rubber. The cheese steak was made completely wrong. I specifically requested a plain cheese steak with "ONLY" the meat and cheese and nothing else and even repeated and confirmed this when the girl asked me a 2nd time. I received the cheese steak with the meat and cheese but it also had a hot steak sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion. I called and advised it was made wrong and I was given a hard time and put on hold for several minutes. They finally agreed to issue a credit. Next day I called to have remade and when I told the woman who answered the phone I had a credit it took several minutes to confirm my credit from the night before. I then repeated myself 5 times how I wanted my cheese steak hoagie with "ONLY" the meat and cheese and nothing else. With another man employee in the background saying he wants steak sauce ?, lettuce ?, tomato ?...I said "NO" for the 5th time I only want The bread, steak & cheese and "NOTHING ELSE" !!! I went to pick up and when I got home there was literally only enough steak to cover half of the bread not to mention the steak was so dryed out it was like eating leather. I even took pictures to show. I do not recommend at all. 1st time trying Mineos and this is a 1 and done for me. Not to mention a large 3 topping pizza and 1 whole hoagie was almost $50.00. Save yourself time and order from someone that doesn't give you a hard time and joke about the situation when you go and pick up the replacement meal that they screwed up. Very disappointed to say the least...

I used to go to Aiello’s but I now much prefer Mineo’s. Their Sicilian slices are amazing, as is their arancini and beans and greens. They have a great happy hour in Squirrel Hill too!

Ordered pep, sausage, mushrooms, and extra sauce on large pizza. Drove in from N. Versailles 4-26 to take it out. Sausage and mushrooms were not on it. I called to just say my pizza, $34+ and a $5 tip, was missing toppings. The owner, if he is that, treated me like I’m a jerk for calling. Gets on the phone and asks, “what’s the problem?” Then confirms with the pizzaiolo, while on w me, that the toppings were on the pizza making me a liar I guess? Offered nothing. Maybe a coupon? The counter person did offer me $6 off my next order, but who’s going to try to bridge that weirdness on take out. The so called owner of this location was the jerk. So, when taking out a delicious pizza at Mineo’s, don’t pause to be concerned if the pizzaiolo, the counter help, and most of all, the so-called owner are offended if you stop to lift the cheese on your pizza before leaving for the toppings you paid for.

Tasty pizza, normal prices for a decently sized pizza. All the surfaces looked clean and were constantly being wiped down from staff. We waited about 20-30 minutes for 2 pizzas. It can get quite busy though, so I suggest ordering ahead.
